Exercise Trident Juncture 2015 involves 36,000 personnel from more than 30 Allied and Partner Nations and will take place throughout Italy, Portugal, Spain, the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and also Canada, Norway, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. The exercise will demonstrate NATO’s new increased level of ambition as well as the Alliance’s capability and capacity to meet present and future challenges. At the conclusion of Trident Juncture 2015, the Headquarters Staff from Joint Force Command Brunssum (the Netherlands) will be officially certified to lead the NATO Response Force throughout 2016
The Joint Force Command Brunssum will be responsible in terms of command and control throughout the exercise. Furthermore, it will be responsible for media accreditation to Trident Juncture 2015.
