On Monday 30 January, Ambassador Claudio Bisogniero paid an official visit to the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Mons.
During his visit, the Ambassador held talks with SACEUR (Supreme Allied Commander Europe), General Curtis Michael Scaparrotti, to whom he conferred the decoration of Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
Moreover, the Ambassador met the National Military Representative for Italy, Rear Admiral Edoardo Compiani, as well as the Italian personnel working at SHAPE.
