The Permanent Delegation of Italy to NATO, together with the Mission of the Swiss Confederation, hosted the seminar “Partnership for Peace Trust Funds: Cooperative Security in Action”.
Over 80 participants attended the seminar, which was opened by Ambassador Claudio Bisogniero and his Swiss counterpart, followed by NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, Ambassador Tacan Ildem, as a keynote speaker. Subsequently, the two panels (“Taking Stock of 17 years of PfP Trust Funds” and “Preparing for new challenges ahead”) saw the participation – as speakers – of Ambassador Stefano Stefanini and the Ambassadors of Mauritania and Jordan to Belgium, as well as the Director of the UNMAS (UN Mine Action Service) Office in Geneva, Sarah Marshall, and Judith Koromi, Chair of CONOP (EU Working Party on Non-Proliferation).
