The main issues on NATO’s agenda, with a particular focus on the dialogue with Russia and the ability of the Atlantic Alliance to face the challenges coming from the South, were at the core of the meeting held in Brussels between the Italian Permanent Representative to NATO, Ambassador Claudio Bisogniero and some members of the Italian Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
The group of Parliamentarians, composed of the honorable Formentini, Bianchi, Iovino, Sodano and Senators Anastasi and Paroli, led by the President of the Italian Delegation, honorable Luca Frusone, were visiting Brussels to take part in institutional activities of the Parliamentary Assembly Committees. The promotion of the Italian industrial system within NATO and the contribution of Italy to the NATO operations and missions have also been discussed.
