Registration in the list of Italian officials in International Organisations
Since 2014 Italian officials working in International Organisations can register themselves in the list that was specifically created according to Italian law (Legge 227/2010 and DPR 103/2014).
The registration in the list can be done through the portal managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI):

The registration request is open to Italian citizens who are working or have worked as employees in International Organisations for at least two years uninterrupted or three years discontinuously.
The registration in the list is an assessable qualification in competitions published by public administrations to fill vacancies that take qualifications into account. The notices of competition determine the additional score. The registration also grants, within the limits established by law, the possibility of obtaining a leave of absence for the accompanying spouse, whether employed by the public or private sector, for a maximum of three years.
